Waziri wa usalama wa ndani Kithure Kindiki amesma kuwa serikali itaweka mikakati dhabiti ili kuimarisha mazingira ya kazi kwa maafisa wa polisi.
Akizungumza wakati wa uzinduzi wa mnara wa kumbukumbu wa polisi katika Chuo cha Polisi cha Utawala Embakasi, Kindiki ameeleza kuwa takriban maafisa 53 wa polisi wameuawa wakiwa kazini katika mwaka mmoja uliopita.
Aidha Kindiki amemamuru inspekta jenerali wa polisi Japheth Koome kubuni kamati ya kuangazia maslahi ya familia za maafisa wa polisi wanaouwawa wakiwa kazini.
